Ek wil vandag begin met 'n storie wat Joyce Meyer vertel het: A little girl had a very stern religious grandfather that never laughed or even smiled and everything was sin. He lived on a farm and one day she came to visit him and he watched her as she walked around on the farm visiting all the animals. When she came to the horses and see them frolicking around she said "No, they don't have it". Then she came to the pigs and saw them rolling around in the mud and enjoying themselves and she said "No, they don't have it" and again when she saw the cows running around looking happy she said "No, they don't have it! But when she got to the donkeys and saw their hanging ears, hanging heads and droopy eyes she said : Yes, they have it!!!" When her grandfather asked her what it is they have which the others don't she said: "They have religion like you, grandfather!"
As ons Jesus se volkome blydskap in ons het is daar geen manier dat mense na ons kan kyk en nie ook begeer wat ons het nie. Kom ons nooi mense met ons houding uit om Jesus as hulle ewige Verlosser en Redder te aanvaar. Laat ons nie wees soos die oupa nie!
